Major Trends in Web Development Over the Next Five Years
1. Design with adaptive or responsive features will become the normal

2. Native apps will decrease
In the next few years, I think we’ll see an evolution in the mobile platform ecosystem. New platforms will come up while the popular options are likely to decline.Â
The uncertainty of the mobile platform landscape together with the increasing capabilities of the internet will result in a decrease in native mobile applications. Particularly in the field of business developers will be more likely to avoid the risk of native apps, and instead embrace the versatility of mobile web applications.

7. Platforms for development are expected to gain traction in the business world.
Businesses across the world have a problem that is growing more severe frustrated by IT’s IT department, the end users are choosing to take advantage of non-secure cloud-based services, despite IT’s back.Â
This creates serious security problems because IT is no longer in control of the data of the company. This has forced several IT departments to review their delivery of applications, and many of them opted to use corporate-wide development platforms.
