Peripheral Artery Disease Symptoms: Many people with peripheral vascular disease show no symptoms. PAD can develop over a lifetime. Symptoms may not appear early in life or at the onset of illness progression. For many patients, symptoms do not appear until their artery narrows by 60 percent or more. Hair loss or decreased hair growth on the legs
