A woman from Mumbai recently shared a video online showing a man pretending to be a policeman, attempting to extort ₹50,000 from her for using a vape. The incident took place in Mumbai’s Powai area and has since gone viral, receiving widespread attention and reactions on social media.

In her video, the woman explained that she was traveling in an autorickshaw when the man, dressed in plain clothes (a white shirt and pants), followed her and jumped into the auto. He claimed to be a police officer and threatened her with arrest, demanding a hefty fine of ₹50,000 for using the vape. The woman sensed something was off and began recording the interaction.
