Hair that is normal should be washed frequently to prevent the build-up of dirt and grease. Wigs aren’t as susceptible to this issue, as they typically are made with a scalp sheath which doesn’t require being cleaned as frequently as normal hair, and also helps shield the wig from scalps naturally oily.
