JEE Advanced 2025: key details every aspirant should know

JEE Advanced is the gateway to India’s top IITs and one of the most competitive engineering exams. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main 2025 can appear for it. This year, the exam will be held on May 18, 2025, with two papers conducted in computer-based mode.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed class 12 in 2024 or 2025 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics. They should also either score 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20 percentile of their board.

Each paper is 3 hours long and tests comprehension, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving in PCM subjects. Results will be announced on June 2, 2025.
