No Emirates doesn’t offer an official practice flight option to let your child try flying solo before the real trip However they do have a very organized unaccompanied minor service designed to make kids feel safe and comfortable when traveling alone
While you can’t book a mock or trial flight the good thing is Emirates staff go out of their way to guide your child every step of the way From check-in to boarding to arriving at the destination a staff member is assigned to stay with your child the whole time and make sure they know what’s going on
If your child is nervous about flying alone you could do a few things to help get them used to it You might take them to the airport before the actual flight to walk around and explain how everything works You can also show them videos of the flight experience or talk through each step like security boarding and what the plane ride feels like
