Ideal glucose levels: The quantity of glucose (sugar) in your blood after eating is known as postprandial glucose, and it typically peaks an hour after eating before returning to normal two hours later.
After at least eight hours of fasting (no eating), healthy blood sugar levels should be less than 100 milligrams per decilitre. Furthermore, two hours after eating, the levels should be less than 140 mg/dL. During the day, levels are typically lowest just before meals. For most persons without diabetes, blood sugar levels before meals range between 70 and 80 mg/dL. For some people, sixty is the norm; for others, ninety.
