FSSAI Central License

A large-scale food business in India is required by law to hold an FSSAI Central License, a certification of food safety. Provided by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), it is required for businesses that operate in more than one state or have an annual revenue of more than ₹20 crore. This license promotes customer compliance and trust by confirming that food items meet national safety standards. Companies that manufacture, process, import, or export food are required to have a central license in order to operate officially and respect quality standards.
