Based on the principles of Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the Tek-Flux 1400C Utility Electromagnetic Flow Meter can be powered by either line or battery. The NSF has approved it, therefore applications involving potable (drinking) water can use the 1400C. This inline battery-operated magmeter is specifically made for situations in which power supplies and energy are not readily available. It minimizes maintenance and increases the productivity of smart measurements in field devices with a battery life of up to five years.
