The Bali Pass Trek is a thrilling mountain pass trek offered by Himalaya Shelter. This trek peaks slightly short of the 5000-meter mark and connects the Har Ki Dun – Ruinsara Valley to Yamunotri and vice-versa. The Bali Pass trek runs through numerous heritage Villages of Har Ki Dun Valley such as Osla, Gangaad, and Taluka, and ascends deep into the Govind National Park.

On the route, trekkers come across the beautiful Ruinsara Lake. Multiple Waterfalls lie on the way to the pass. The Bali Pass trek distance is 66 KM from Taluka to Janki Chatti. The trek is on the difficult end as the Bali Pass trek altitude is more than 16000 feet and has long walking days, with steep ascents and descents.

The trek offers a panoramic, 360-degree view of the Kalanag, Bandarpoonch, and Swargrohini peaks. It also traverses the confluence of Ruinsara and Tons rivers, the lush-green meadows, and the undisturbed serenity of the Valley. The Bali Pass Trek is an exploration on its own, offering a unique blend of adventure and natural beauty. It is ideal for experienced and seasoned trekkers due to its challenging terrain and high altitude. The trek falls under the jurisdiction of Govind Wildlife Sanctuary National Park of the Uttarkashi district. The Bali Pass Trek is a vintage historic adventure trek where one can find the essence of Chardham mythology. The Yamunotri temple is one of the best parts, with rich grasslands, meadows, mountain ridges, glacier ranges, pine forests, and jaw-dropping views of the mighty Himalayas.
