Cataracts – Symptoms & Causes

Cataracts occur when the eye’s lens becomes cloudy, resulting in blurred vision, trouble seeing at night, and increased sensitivity to light. Symptoms often include halos around lights and diminished color perception. Though aging is the main cause, factors such as prolonged sun exposure, smoking, diabetes, and eye injuries can also lead to cataract formation.
